Chester is a light grey donkey with a pale coloured cross on his back. He is a very friendly elderly chap who enjoys lots of fuss and attention.
Chester was in the same home for eighteen years being involved in religious plays for much of that time. His passport suggests he was born in 1996 but his medical conditions and worn out teeth suggest he is much older. Chester arrived at the sanctuary in the early part of September 2021 sadly with lots of physical problems including being undernourished, bad feet and Cushings disease. Our aim as with all the donkeys in our care, is to give him everything he needs to enjoy a happy life long home where he can thrive whilst enjoying the other donkeys company.
As part of your adoption package, in addition to your certificate and photograph, you will have the opportunity to come along and meet him at his home on Hayling Island at one of our Open Days.
If you would like to adopt this donkey as a gift for someone else, kindly enter their name along with the date you want it to start in the “Additional Notes” section of the checkout page.
