Description
Dougal is a little donkey with a light coloured skewbald coat. Although we are unable to age him accurately the vets believe him to have been born between 2008 and 2013. He has had an unsettled past being used by several people as a companion for horses until he found himself in an unsuitable place and in need of a settled home. He came to the sanctuary with his son Dudley in September 2023 and being a mature stallion needed some specialist work to castrate him so he could calmly interact with the sanctuary’s herd along with a full medical, Flu and Tetanus vaccinations, his feet trimmed and all important dentistry work. He is very sweet and is enjoying all the fuss and attention from our visitors and volunteers.
As part of your adoption package, in addition to your certificate and photograph, you will have the opportunity to come along and meet him at his home on Hayling Island at one of our Open Days.
