Description
Dominic is a super cute little brown donkey who was born at the sanctuary just a few days before Christmas 2025, we don’t breed donkeys at the sanctuary but his mother April joined the sanctuary herd in April 2025 and unbeknown to us was already pregnant. Our suspicions were roused as she became food obsessed and her girth increased, we arranged for our vets to undertake a blood test to check but before they could out popped Dominic early one Saturday morning! He was born dark black with tight curly hair and was so gorgeous, sadly he had problems adjusting to been born so he and mum both had to spend some time at the hospital to give him a helping hand. Now he is charging around, into everything and wanting to play and explore, he is starting to mix with the others of the herd and so far really likes Florence.
As part of your adoption package, in addition to your certificate and photograph, you will have the opportunity to come along and meet him at his home on Hayling Island at one of our Open Days.
